Description

Bronze Age issue featuring Superman and Batman in the lead story, with back-up stories starring Rip Hunter, the Vigilante, Black Canary and the Jimmy Olsen–Robin team. A desirable issue from DC’s long-running World’s Finest Comics series, though not considered a major key.

Superman and Batman headline “Bow Before Satan’s Children!”, an action-packed adventure in which the Man of Steel races against time to rescue Batman from a mysterious cult. Written by Elliot S! Maggin with interior artwork by Dick Dillin and inks by Joe Giella, this issue also includes classic back-up features starring Rip Hunter, the Vigilante and Black Canary, making it an excellent example of DC’s anthology format during the Bronze Age.

The striking cover by Nick Cardy captures the dramatic partnership of Superman and Batman. Based on the supplied photograph, this copy appears to be in Fine (FN 6.0) condition, with strong colours and good overall presentation, showing moderate edge and corner wear, light spine stress, some age-related tanning to the cover, and a small distributor’s ink stamp on the front cover.
