Description
Scary Tales #3, published by Charlton Comics in December 1975, from the publisher’s atmospheric Bronze Age horror line. This early issue features a striking painted cover depicting a mysterious vampire-like woman seated in a shadowy castle alongside a ghostly white cat, making it one of the more memorable covers from the series.
This comic is presented in a protective sleeve with backing board. The cover retains good colour and strong display appeal, with visible light spine wear, minor edge and corner wear, and general handling marks consistent with its age.
Charlton’s Scary Tales series has become increasingly popular with collectors of Bronze Age horror comics thanks to its distinctive painted covers and supernatural anthology stories. This issue is an excellent addition for collectors of Charlton Comics, vintage horror titles, or anyone building a classic 1970s horror comic collection.
