Description
DC Comics Adventure Comics #481, published in May 1981, featuring the return of the imaginative Dial “H” for Hero concept. The series follows Chris King and Vicki Grant, who use mysterious power dials to transform into a constantly changing selection of superheroes.
A particularly interesting aspect of this run is that many of the featured heroes and villains were created and submitted by DC Comics readers, with the cover proudly advertising “Featuring Characters Created by DC Comics Fans!” This issue features characters including Stellar, Volcano and the sea creature shown prominently on the cover.
