DC Comics House of Mystery #129, published in December 1962. This Silver Age issue features the striking science-fiction story “The Man in the Nuclear Trap!”, with a wonderfully unusual atomic-age cover depicting a man trapped inside a giant atom as objects around him are destroyed.
Published during House of Mystery’s classic science-fiction and supernatural period, before the title became primarily associated with horror, this is an appealing example of early 1960s DC mystery comics. The dramatic nuclear-themed imagery gives the issue plenty of vintage Silver Age character.
