Description
Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun for the Sega Mega Drive is a fantasy role-playing game based on the classic Dungeons & Dragons tabletop system. Released in 1992, the game allows players to create a party of adventurers and explore a large fantasy world, battling monsters, discovering dungeons and developing their characters through traditional RPG progression.
The game was developed by Westwood Associates and published by Sega, under licence from TSR. Gameplay combines an overhead perspective for exploration with first-person dungeon sequences and tactical combat, drawing upon the rules and fantasy setting of Dungeons & Dragons.
