Description
Golden Axe II for the Sega Mega Drive is a fantasy side-scrolling beat ’em up and the sequel to the original Golden Axe. Released in 1991, the game sees the return of Ax Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius Thunderhead as they battle through armies of enemies and fantasy creatures in an effort to defeat the evil Dark Guld.
The game was developed by Sega and published by Sega specifically for the Mega Drive. Gameplay combines weapon-based combat, magical attacks and rideable creatures, with both single-player and cooperative two-player modes.
