Description
The Warriors is an action-adventure beat ’em up for PlayStation 2, developed by Rockstar Toronto and published by Rockstar Games. The game was released in 2005 and is based on the 1979 cult film of the same name. The European PAL release followed in October 2005.
Set in New York City in 1979, the game follows the Warriors as they attempt to make their way back to their home territory after being wrongly blamed for the murder of a rival gang leader. The campaign expands on the film’s story with events taking place before and after the movie, alongside combat, gang warfare and multiplayer modes.
