The Evil Dead – Book of the Dead Limited Edition is a highly collectible DVD release from Anchor Bay Entertainment, released in 2002. The Region 2 PAL edition is housed in a distinctive rubber/latex replica of the Necronomicon-style Book of the Dead, based on the design created by special-effects artist Tom Sullivan.

The original The Evil Dead was released in 1981 and was directed by Sam Raimi, who also developed the film with producer Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell. The DVD features the film presented in anamorphic widescreen along with commentary tracks and a range of additional material, making this a particularly desirable collector’s edition.

This copy doesnt have its original sleeve and there is wear to the latex from age mainly to the top as can be seen in the picture. However this is still a rare collectable edition and the disk is in very good condition.
