Description
Air Fighters Classics Volume 1 No. 3, published by Eclipse Comics in March 1988. This issue reprints material from the Golden Age Air Fighters Comics, including the Airboy story “Secrets of the Bird-Plane”, along with stories featuring Sky Wolf, Iron Ace, Black Angel, Bald Eagle and the Flying Dutchman.
The original material was published by Hillman in Air Fighters Comics Vol. 1 No. 4, dated January 1943, and was written and illustrated by creators including Charles Biro, Dick Wood, Al Camy, Mort Leav and others. The Eclipse reprint is a full-colour softcover comic from the Copper Age.
