Description
Batman #505, published by DC Comics with a March 1994 cover date, is part of the KnightQuest: The Crusade storyline and features the story “Blood Kin.” The issue was written by Doug Moench, with interior pencils by Mike Manley and inks by Bob Wiacek. The striking cover was illustrated by Kelley Jones and coloured by Bob LeRose.
The story follows Jean-Paul Valley as Batman as he investigates a series of family murders and comes up against the serial killer Abattoir. Batman manages to save Abattoir’s intended victims but once again allows the killer to escape, prompting Jean-Paul to reconsider the design and purpose of his costume and move towards a more aggressive approach.
