Description
Batman #506, published by DC Comics with an April 1994 cover date, features “Malevolent Maniaxe,” continuing the KnightQuest: The Crusade storyline. The issue was written by Doug Moench, with pencils by Mike Manley, inks by Joe Rubinstein, colours by Adrienne Roy, and lettering by Ken Bruzenak. The cover was illustrated by Kelley Jones and coloured by Bob LeRose.
Batman continues his pursuit of the serial killer Abattoir, while Abattoir’s incarcerated cousin places a bounty on his head. A former punk group known as the Malevolent Maniaxe, now working for the Roselli crime family, sets out after the bounty, while the vigilante Ballistic is also pursuing Abattoir. Their paths eventually collide with Batman as the hunt intensifies. The story continues into Batman #507.
