Description
Evil Dead II: The Book of the Dead 2 – Special Divimax Edition is a highly collectible DVD release of Sam Raimi’s cult horror classic Evil Dead II. Released in 2005 by Anchor Bay Entertainment, this Region 1 NTSC edition features the film in anamorphic widescreen with a DiviMax transfer and extensive bonus material.
The film itself was originally released in 1987 and was directed by Sam Raimi, with Bruce Campbell starring as Ash Williams. The distinctive Book of the Dead packaging was designed by special-effects artist Tom Sullivan and features a sculpted, skin-like cover based on the Necronomicon from the film.
This edition has some damage to the spine. The latex has worn at the side from age. Please examine the photo carefully. The sound effect also doesnt work due to the battery. However despite that this is still a nice collectable and iconic DVD special edition.
